AOD - 550

The AOD-550 is the strongest two piece input shaft design we consider reliable. It can easily be upgraded to a 300M one piece input shaft for even higher reliability. It is the most universal AOD unit we offer with best street manners. This unit will accept many different converter options as well as the stock converter.

AOD - 700

The AOD-700 wins the “best seller” award. This wild child utilizes a 300M ONE PIECE input shaft as a standard option. It’s built to dish as much power as Ford factory drums can handle. This unit offers room to grow from street to full racing applications. Auxiliary cooling is essential when running a one-piece, non-locking converter.

AOD - 950

"Ultra AOD"

Performance Level: 4

Silver Fox Performance Tranmission's highest level of performance AOD. Utilizing a 300M ONE PIECE input shaft (like the AOD-700), this unit includes special machine work and performance aftermarket drum assemblies. Years of experience and design has led to its creation. There are very few shops who build an AOD to this level of performance. Though considered a “Strip” transmission, overdrive is handy to have for your journey to and from events. AOD - SFI

Performance Level: 5

This is an AOD-950 with SFI bellhousing option. We cut trim the case with a large swing lathe to remove the bell and mate an SFI approved bellhousing to the pump. Bellhousing manufacturer may vary depending on application. We strongly encourage the addition of converter, flexplate, and rear yoke as part of the package (priced separately).

4R70W - 500

"Street"

The 4R-500 is an improved alternative to a stock replacement. It’s built to dish as much power as Ford factory parts can handle. It is extremely versatile for use in stock applications as well as street rods, or classic muscle applications who want OD and superior street manners. Electronic control options function best with this model.

Silver Fox Performance Transmission's most popular 4R build. This transmission utilizes a 300M input shaft and is built to dish out as much power as Ford factory drums can handle. It is fully rebuilt using F7 or newer cores. This transmission retains the use of lockup control, however it is not suggested for use past 700 ft/lbs of torque (with the exception of cruising in 4th gear). Electronic controls can still be used.

The Brat is a hybrid three-speed transmission intended for strict performance use only. It can be suggested as a FORD C6 / GM TH400 replacement with the added feature of utilizing a triple disk lockup converter for the ultimate transfer of power to the rear wheels. This unit comes standard with a manual shift valve body w/transbrake and SFI bellhousing.
